FAQ

Can you be underage and apply to University of Porto?

It is possible, yes. The conditions required to enrol are: have a high school / secondary school diploma and taking the required exams.

I am already enrolled in a University. Can I still go to UP and ask for classes equivalence?

Yes, you can. For more information, check here.

Who can I ask for a Recommendation Letter?

You can ask any educator who can value your achievements as a student. They can be a professor, director, guidance counsellor, or many others.

When will the annual calendar and timetables be public?

You should check the annual calendar in your Faculty’s webpage (it should be officially out in August). The individual timetable will only be assigned once your class is attributed (around a week before classes start). In some Faculties you will have to select your own classes as there might be more than one for each subject.
